VxRail: How to reset the root password for VxRail Manager

Issue | Need to reset the VxRail Manager root password. |
Cause | |
Resolution | Procedure: - Restart Guest (NOT RESET) for VxRail Manager VM from vCenter, then Press e at the below screen.
- Add init=/bin/bash as shown in the screen below (highlighted in red square), then press F10 or Control-X.
- Change password by typing "passwd". You may see the error below:
If you see the error, "Authentication token lock busy," type: "mount -o remount rw -t ext3 /" "chmod -v 4711 /usr/bin/passwd" - Change the password again by typing, "passwd".
- Exit from the VxRail Manager Console, then click "Restart Guest" (NOT RESET) on VxRail Manager VM from vCenter.
