Issue


VxRail: During validation the following error appears:

The physical network configuration on host is not correct. Please refer to the VxRail Network Guide for correct configuration.

VLAN ID: Please check the VLAN assigned to the vSphere vMotion network
Network adapters [vmnic0] on host 1 cannot communicate with other hosts on VLAN XXX.

Cause
Cables are connected to the wrong ports for this VxRail appliance.

On the server run a "esxcfg-nics -l".

As you can see below, in this site customer is only planning on using 2 x 10Gb ports, but the vmnic4 & vmnic5 are connected and the vmnic0 & vmnic1 are down or disconnected.

Connect the cables to the vmnic0 & vmnic1 ports of the VxRail servers.
